Welcome To The Prayer For The Holy Spirit
This is simply a video I’ve put together where I would like to pray for anyone within the sound of my voice to receive the Holy Spirit baptism which is a Gift from God. All I ask you to do is to agree with me as we seek our Father God.
In order to be baptized with the Holy Spirit you must be Born Again. If you have not been born again please watch my video “The Prayer Of Salvation” first. Then come back to this video.
As His child your loving Heavenly Father desires to give you the supernatural power you need to live this brand new life for Him.
All you have to do is ask, believe, and receive.
If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? 12 Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? 13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
When you’re filled with God’s supernatural power some syllables from a language you don’t recognize will rise up from your heart to your mouth.
“For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays, but my mind is unfruitful.” - 1Cor 14 verse 14
As you speak those words up by faith you’re releasing God’s power from within and building yourself up in the Spirit. You can do this whenever and wherever you like.
“Anyone who speaks in a tongue edifies themselves…” - 1 Cor 14 verse 4
It doesn’t really matter whether you feel anything or not when you pray to receive the Lord and His spirit. If you believe in your heart that you received then God promises that you did. And if God says it that settles it.
“Therefore I say unto you whatsoever you desire when you pray believe you received them and you shall have them.” - Mark 11 verse 24
God always honors His word so believe it and trust Him.
Pray out loud after me…
“Father I recognize my need for your power to live this new life. Please fill me with your Holy Spirit. By faith I receive it right now based on Your promise. Thank you for baptizing me. Holy Spirit you are welcome in my life!”
