Written by Gerry Rafferty and performed by Unicorn this track combines two of my favourite artists from the 1970's. From the album 'Uphill All The Way'. Gerry and Unicorn were both signed to Transatlantic Records at the time and I believe he visited the Unicorn recording studio 'The Shed' where Unicorn played this track and 'Shoeshine Boy' in the hope he might write something for them, sadly this never materialised but at least it resulted in this cover version. Produced by Hugh Murphy. The album contains 4 other cover versions by Jimmy Webb, Neil Young, Joe Cocker and John Stewart as well as 5 Ken Baker original compostions. No copyright infringement is intended. This cover version was requested yesterday which would have been Gerry's 66th birthday.
