The Creator is a movie directed by Gareth Edwards, who also directed Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. It tells the story of a war between humans and robots with artificial intelligence and an ex-soldier who connects with a childlike robot. The movie stars John David Washington, Madeline Yuna Voyles, Gemma Chan, Allison Janney, and Ken Watanabe3
The movie has been using a unique marketing strategy to promote itself, by bringing its robots to life and letting them interact with people in real life. The robots are designed by Engineered Arts, the same company that created Ameca, the genderless robot that can draw and talk The robots have cameras, microphones, speakers, and AI software that allow them to communicate with humans and respond to their questions and emotions
