Reginald Hill – The Storyboard Artist For The Live Action Scenes Of Sir Alan Parker’s Feature Film ‘Pink Floyd The Wall’ (UK – 1982)
He was an English model-maker, art director, producer, and freelance storyboard artist, most prominently associated with the work of Gerry Anderson. In 1977 Reginald Hill entered semi-retirement, but continued to work as a storyboard artist on a range of films including ‘Pink Floyd The Wall’, ‘Gunbus’, ‘Outland’, ‘Octopussy’, ‘The Last Days Of Pompeii’, ‘Supergirl’, ‘Superman’ and ‘Superman II’. Following full retirement, he died in Surrey during the fourth quarter 1999 at the age of 85.
Attached you will find most of his storyboards for Sir Alan Parker’s feature film 'Pink Floyd The Wall' from his personal possessions. I bought his folder some years ago. It is amazing how closely the realization follows the drawn storyboard. Check it out - here are the scans...
