When in Iceland, you MUST try a geothermal pool or lagoon, and I can't recommend Laugarvatn Fontana Geothermal Baths & Bakery enough!! Their naturally heated and mineral filled baths are so therapeutic and amazing, and the backdrop of lake and mountains is stunning!! You can do a cold plunge in the lake, paired with their sauna, as well!! And you MUST do their geothermal bakery tour, which was featured on Netflix's Down to Earth with Zac Efron. It's so cool to watch them bury and dig up Icelandic rye bread that has been cooked by the hot earth, no fire or fuel required!! Then, of course, eating it with Icelandic butter and smoked trout caught in their lake is icing on the cake!!! Be sure to visit @LaugarvatnFONTANA when you visit Iceland!!
