This is the radio edit of DJ Miko's trance cover of "What's Up", originally a hit for the band, 4 Non Blondes. Released in 1993, "What's Up" was the only song for keyboardist Monier Quartararo Gagliardo (with lead vocals handled by Maria Capri) to ever make the charts.

In the US, the song peaked at #58 on the Billboard Hot 100, #72 on the Cash Box Top 100, #19 on the Billboard Dance Songs chart, and #23 on the Billboard Rhythmic chart. It also went to #2 in Scotland, #8 in Ireland, #6 in the UK, #5 in both Italy and Spain, #13 in Finland, #17 in Sweden, #21 in Europe, #23 in New Zeland, and #92 in Australia.

DJ Miko also recorded cover versions of Jigsaw's "Sky High", The Knack's "My Sharona", Alphaville's "Forever Young", and Tears For Fears' "Shout", among others, employing various studio vocalists.

Personally, I'll take this version over the original 4 Non Blondes version any day.
