Here's a worst case scenario: A much larger and taller attacker is aggressive towards you and is holding a baseball bat. That's a very dangerous situation to be in, but you still need to protect yourself.
The good news, is that you still have options to protect yourself.
It's best to step in and strike your attacker before he starts swinging or right after the baseball bat crosses the center-line. In the process, always have your hands up to protect your head. Remember to strike with all you've got.
Practice this self defense drill with your training partner. It will practice your timing and your explosiveness to step in.
