Contributing musicians and artists:

Serkan Alkan: For his endless contributions to this album through programming, composing, editing, mixing or playing. A true friend and a musician who has put just as much hard work, time and effort into this album as I have, an individual who supported us in my musician brother Kahin’s studio, Serkan is truly one of a kind

Necati Kocabay: Perhaps the greatest gift this album has given me is a capable, creative musician who plays from the heart, or better yet, the opportunity to become acquainted with this lighthearted friend. You can feel the presence of this musician in the rhythms, melodies, electronic sounds and even the compositions. No amount of words can measure the important role this musician and friend played on the album, thank you 1000 times over for your contributions to this album

Paul Keeley: I will forever be grateful for his help laying the initial groundwork for the album in Montreal, for his dedication to perfection during recording, for the different perspective he brought to electronic music and for the endless support he gave during marathon recording sessions. His signature will always be the sweet and hard rhythms heard on the album.

Aykut Sutoglu: Joining us at the tender age of 13 for our first tour across America, always by my side and improving on his clarinet each and every day, my belief that he is on his way to becoming one of the great virtuosos of the clarinet grows stronger every day. My brother Aykut, thank you for your support from the beginning to the end of this album, I hope that your path will be open and your heart will be at ease.

Ceza: A poet of modern times, lighthearted soul, wise, I thank you for the inspiration and friendship you have given me through your words, voice, and conversation. Ceza, may you always stay so real, true and full of enjoyable conversation!

Yildiz Tilbe: You opened your heart when I was least expecting it, I am forever grateful for the way you lit up our life like a city star, one person can only be this much “warmer than the sun in love, more naked than water with her genuineness, darker than the night in covering up her faults, brighter than the sky in her happiness”. Thank you for your trust, big-heart, and sincerity.

Goksel Baktagir: Our two decade friendship is not enough to communicate the fascination, sincerity and excitement I have for you dear Göksel; there are very few people who are as accomplished and modest as you are, although you are real it seems as though you are a character from fiction. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the many years you have supported me. Not just with your instrument, but for your valuable views and critiques, you have always been the friend I trusted most. To share a stage with you is an honor, delight, and source of true happiness.

Yurdal Tokcan: On my previous album my thank you note to you was erased and it confounded me, now I’ve thanked you here does it mean I’m forgiven? My deepest wish is just to thank you for everything, my dear Yurdal. To have been fortunate enough to record even one note of your music is a blessing I will carry with me my entire life. Could there possibly be anyone whose soul matches their instrument as perfectly as you do yours?

Neva Ozgen:.My dearest Neva, always stay this beautiful and from the heart. I hope that poppies will rain from the sky and bless your heart for the passion you have contributed to all of my albums and for your singular and unmatched support…The soul of genius Ihsan Hoca lives in every note emitted from your violin, masallah.

I owe a thank you WITHOUT EXCEPTION to everyone at Pozitif and Doublemoon.
