Mackinzie Loughlin is a full time CNC Machinist, with 12 years in manufacturing he has developed a wide skill set which he uses for problem solving on the shop floor. Mr. Loughlin is a member of the Occupational Advisory Committee aimed at shaping High School Tech-Ed Curriculums to suit today’s needs. His talk examines how self-awareness and emotion can play a beneficial role on our ability to problem solve. Mr. Loughlin looks at the value of a mental framework that embraces a positive connotation to being wrong. Mackinzie Loughlin is a full time CNC Machinist. He holds and pursues formal qualifications specifically related to Manufacturing Technology.
Mr. Loughlin has spent the majority of his career hands on in the manufacturing space. With 12 years in this industry, he has developed a wide skill set which he uses on the shop floor, as well as in education to assist in preparing students for trade related careers. Mr. Loughlin is a member of an Occupational Advisory Committee aimed at shaping High School Tech-Ed Curriculums to suit today’s needs.

Informally, Mr. Loughlin endeavors to have a practical knowledge base in problem solving, business strategy, continuous improvement, and process engineering.
