Former Vice President Joe Biden defended the Obama administration's policy on deportation at the second 2020 Democratic debate in Miami, and criticized the Trump administration's policy. Biden said that people who have committed major crimes should be deported, but immigrants whose only crime is being in the country illegally "should not be the focus of deportation."
