I've been wanting to make this video for actual years, ever since I first heard this song (and more specifically, the line about grasping a flower and wielding a sword - it's basically the same exact phrasing used to describe dianxia in the book, and I- I!!!) Can't believe we're already at the point where we have enough donghua content that I can make this :)

🦋 tgcf donghua was super duper beautiful, haoliners and the animators really went above and beyond! the dianxia montage in the first episode was honestly so so good, 100% knew it was going in this amv when I first saw it
🦋 i am such a simp for hua cheng, forever and always, this video might as well be called the hua cheng simp montage because i tried (and failed) to fit in all his cool smirks
🦋 my favorite parts of this video are the fighting montages (unintentionally on the beat actually) and the "following you as a speck of dust" scene. oh yeah and the dianxia scenes
🦋 so many cute hualian moments were forsaken for this, but I want to create another video in the future that's hopefully less dramatic and more cute!
