Trump slams 'fake polls' suggesting he's trailing

Speaking to reporters in the Oval Office during a meeting with the president of Poland, Trump called the polls "ridiculous" and said they were "fake."
The US president insisted he was "winning in every single state" that his campaign has polled.
Trump said his campaign has done "very little" internal polling because he is "not a huge believer in polling," but added that the polling it has done is "unbelievably strong."
"The strongest I've ever been is exactly today," he said.
A Quinnipiac University poll released Wednesday shows Trump trailing Biden nationally 53 to 40%.
The president also falls behind five other Democratic 2020 candidates: Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, California Senator Kamala Harris, Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren, South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg and New Jersey Senator Cory Booker.
Trump also said it's "ridiculous" to have a census count if the government can't ask about citizenship.
The Trump administration has decided to add a citizenship question to the once-a-decade census taking place next year.
Democrats fear the question will reduce census participation in immigrant-heavy communities, diluting political representation and federal dollars in the ensuing years.
Trump has asserted executive privilege over documents that were subpoenaed by Congress related to the rationale behind the Trump administration's decision.
The Supreme Court is considering the citizenship question in a ruling expected by the end of the month.
