Without a doubt, based on the scale of the lore it encompasses, this is one of the saddest and most emotional stories in the League of Legends universe, as it involves not just one person or being, but an entire civilization coming to a fate even worse than death. It involves only one of the several perspectives of the Ruination of the Blessed Isles from the perspective of their creator, when they were transformed into the dark place of undeath that is now called the Shadow Isles.
