some questions i would like to address:
1."Why didn't they used their quirks?" the building was all debris at that point and with the villain attack still going, they both could pretty much died at that point, both of them were badly injured and even if they tried to decay/punch their way out nothing assured them they would even come out alive, not to mention the lack of oxygen, and while this a pretty simple explanation, in my defense this was made before de MLA arc and it was still pretty self indulgent even then.
2."If Shigaraki touched Izuku then why didn't he decayed" Never touched him with all 5 fingers, always had one lifted, even when he took him by the neck!
3. Not really a question but i think its worth saying this is pretty much and au scenario, probably somewhere a little bit after the overhaul arc i think but not really timeline complain if we are being serious
