Eighteen-year-old Vera Lynn sings the title song from the film "Thanks A Million" when she was a resident singer with the fine band Charlie Kunz directed at London's Casani Club. It was the beginning of a legendary career for the young dance band vocalist.

Dame Vera is, at the time of this upload, 99-years of age and has recently been made a Companion of Honour by Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth.
