"Journey to the Past" es una canción escrita por la letrista Lynn Ahrens y el compositor Stephen Flaherty para la película musical animada “Anastasia” en 1997. El video musical de la canción debutó en televisión en canales de cable como BET, Vh1 y The Box durante la semana del 16 de noviembre de 1997. Éste presenta escenas de Thalia alternando entre las tomas animadas de la película de Rusia durante la década de 1920. “Journey to the Past" is a song written by lyricist Lynn Ahrens and composer Stephen Flaherty for the animated musical film Anastasia in 1997. The music video for the song made its television debut on cable network channels such as BET, Vh1 and The Box during the week of November 16, 1997. It features scenes of Thalia alternating between the film's animated shots of Russia during the 1920s. Thalia sang the official song in Spanish as well as in English, and a Portuguese version for Brazil. The bonus track in the soundtrack of the film, “Viaje Tiempo Atrás", made Thalia the first female artist to participate in the 20th Century Fox soundtrack, turning the song and video into a success in Latin America. The film was a great success, both at the box office and with critics, and it was rewarded in total with eight awards and up to 16 nominations, including two to the Oscars. It is the most successful Fox Animation Studios movie to date.
