La telenovela Rosalinda fue dirigida por Beatriz Sheridan y producida por Salvador Mejía para Televisa en 1999. Es la adaptación de la telenovela venezolana María Teresa original de Delia Fiallo. Fue protagonizada por Thalia y Fernando Carrillo, con las participaciones antagónicas de Lupita Ferrer, Nora Salinas y Roberto "Flaco" Guzmán. Conto además con las actuaciones estelares de las primeras actrices Angélica María y Laura Zapata.
Esta fue la última telenovela que Thalia protagonizó (para centrarse en su carrera musical en ascenso en ese momento). Rosalinda sigue siendo la producción televisiva más cara de México, así como la telenovela más exportada y vista de todos los tiempos en el mundo, ya que se transmitió en México y en más de 180 países a 2000 millones de espectadores entre los años 1999 y 2000. Ademas, fue una de las telenovelas más vendidas en la historia de Televisa, alcanzando una audiencia de casi 30 puntos en su transmision inicial.
El tema musical de la telenovela Rosalinda es el quinto sencillo de su séptimo álbum de estudio, Arrasando. Fue escrita y producida por el músico y compositor colombiano Kike Santander.
The soap opera Rosalinda was directed by Beatriz Sheridan and produced by Salvador Mejía for Televisa in 1999. It is the adaptation of the original Venezuelan soap opera María Teresa by Delia Fiallo. This was the last soap opera that Thalia starred in (to focus on her growing music career at the time). Rosalinda continues to be the most expensive television production in Mexico, as well as the only most exported and watched soap opera of all times in the world, since it was broadcast in Mexico and in more than 180 countries to 2,000 million viewers between the years of 1999 and 2000. It was also one of the best-selling soap operas in Televisa's history, reaching an audience of almost 30 points in its initial broadcast.
The theme song for the soap opera Rosalinda is the fifth single from her seventh studio album, Arrasando. It was written and produced by Colombian musician and composer Kike Santander.
