Mark 4:35-41; 5:1-21 Hebrews 10:23
Just like aeroplanes travel through turbulence to get to their destination, so have we all breezed through Satan’s
storms this year and yet arrived at this point. May we all arrive at our destination a winner.
Your ship will not capsize on the sea, your chariot will not crash along the way, you will reach your destination and execute heaven’s purpose for your life (Mark 4:35-41; 2 Kings 2:9-18).
When Satan says itis OVER, God causes your helperto CROSSOVER to reach you and help you so that your problems are OVER.
When Satan says you are DOWNand OUT, God says you are UPand IN(Job 22:29).
When Satan sends you to live among the dead, God redeems you and sends you back to partake among the living.

1) PASSING OVER FOR TESTIMONY
Mark 4:35; Luke 8:22; Matthew 8:18,23; Joshua 1:11; 3:14-17; 4:1; 1 Samuel 14:1,6-14; Exodus 14:15; Psalm 27:1- 3.
Christ had told His disciples: “Let us pass over unto the other side” (Mark 4:35) and not let us perish in the middle of the sea of Galilee. However, they ended up in a storm.
Jonah ended up in a storm because of disobedience but the disciples got into a storm because of their obedience to the Lord. So, they should have known that they were passing over any trial to testimony. Their
journey was intended to be triumphant in spite of Satan’s troubles. Itwas nottime to perish but to make progress in their calling is spite of Satan’s pandemonium.
The disciples should have remembered how Christ had proven Himself reliable in the past. Their confidence in His word should be battle-tested.
May you pass over whatever trials during the remaining days of the year with triumph and testimony IJN!.
Jordan may be heavily flooding but you will clean pass over into your inheritance (Joshua 1:11; 3:14-17; 4:1).

2) PANIC AMONG THE TESTIFIERS
Mark 4:37-49; Luke 8:23-25; Matthew 8:24-26; Philippians 4:6,7; Ephesians 6:16; Psalm 55:22; 2 Kings 6:15- 18; 1:9-15; John 14:1; 16:33

Many believers live in unfounded fear always anticipating what the devil might do. This fear and anticipation of evil eventually materialises thereby reinforcing the validity of the fear in the first place
(Job 3:25). Many are ignorant that they are snared by the words of their mouths (Proverbs 6:2).
That we are on our way to the place of God’s purpose does not guarantee an easy ride. In fact, the Devil creates storms in the teacup to upset the balance of things.

Motherwell faithfulness. Hence, he wanted to frustrate this journey.
There arose a GREAT STORM OF WIND that threatened to capsize their ship. It caused panic among the travelers. Rather than pray, they panicked. Rather than manifest authority, they manifested anxiety.
Several of the disciples were experienced fishermen yet feared about what they knew how to do. They forgot all that they have learnt. In their anxiety and panic, they woke Jesus up to tackle the situation (Mark 4:36-38).

3) PEACE THROUGH THE TESTATOR
Mark 4:39-41; Luke 8:24; Matthew 8:26,27; 11:28-30; Psalm 119:165; Philippians 4:7; 2 Thessalonians 3:16;
Romans 16:20; 2 Peter 1:2.
Jesus has promised us peace through the storm (Isaiah 26:3). He is the Prince of Peace. Jesus rose and manifested authority. He rebuked the wind saying, “Peace be still” (Mark 4:39). The wind ceased, and
there was a GREAT CALM.
The solution that Jesus provided was in the same magnitude as the problem. A GREAT STORM can only be overcome by aGREAT CALM. SMALL TESTSattract SMALLTRIUMPHS and SMALL TESTIMONIES!BIGTESTS attractBIGTRIUMPHSandBIGTESTIMONIES.
Jesus calmed the situation before correcting the disciples. This is a great lesson for us in the church, in the community and in the family: conquer Satan before chastising the children. Quench the fire before
upbraiding them for starting the fire (Mark 4:40). Jesus is the Master over all the storms of life (Mark4:41). What storms are presently raging in your life? There will be calm today at the command of faith.
