Eeco Rijken Rapp plays the Suitcase Blues from Albert Ammons. Original this famous song was composed by pianist Hersal Thomas. Hersal was born in Texas and travelled with his brother George and sister Sippie Wallace to New Orleans and eventually to Chicago where Hersal met Albert Ammons and Meade Lux Lewis. Though he died at a young age, Thomas was nonetheless an influence on the "Chicago boogie woogie school of pianists", Ammons and Lewis.
