I REALLY regret how I portrayed Crowfeather in this PMV. Crowfeather is NOT ABUSIVE and I’m sorry if I even remotely portrayed him that way. No one should ever put another character down just to glorify their ship and I’m sorry. I'm gonna attempt to explain myself, but please don't take this as me excusing myself, cuz its definitely still my fault. However, I hope to show that its my fault because i was dumb, not because of mal intent
I got caught up in this whole crowfeather is abusive narrative without realizing it. I was dumb and never took the time to consider the implications of mothwing 'defending' leafpool from crowfeather or anything like that. Mothpool was a ship i found comfort in but I took that and turned it into something toxic, (something A lot of the mothpool shippers did at the time) This PMV was inspired by an art piece that I didn't realize was portraying crowfeather as abusive, and I impulsively made this PMV without considering the implications. When I saw it I, having not read the older books in a while, I assumed that crowfeather had attacked leafpool CANONICALLY and the au inspired by had just inserted mothwing. I assumed that crowfeather, during the eclipse battle or something, was angry about leafpool and tried to attack her. Because attacking someone out of anger in warriors is more ok than in real life. I didn't think about its abuse implications, especially as crowfeather was a former mate, when I really should have. Anyways TLDR I'm dumb and I promise I didn't mean to portray him this way, but the fact is I DID and I did that because I didn't think beforehand and I'm very sorry about that.
ALSO I want to say sorry for how defensive I was about this initially. I was so proud of this, I think it was my first ever WC pmv? But yeah it took me a while to realize I made a mistake because I had genuinely not even considered the fact I made crowfeather look abusive. I'm sorry if anyone received nasty or defensive comments from me. I was so afraid people would attack me if I backtracked and admitted I was wrong (which now I know is the opposite) so I doubled down.

basically my head-cannon is that after crowfeather and leafpool split, leafpool found comfort in mothwing, who had liked her since she met her. When Mothwing defends Leafpool from crowfeather during the eclipse battle, leafpool starts to grow romantically interested in her, and soon they become a couple
