Tiger Army - Santa Carla Twilight
Tiger Army’s first three records are absolute classics, but III: Ghost Tigers Rise recently dropped going into 8th grade in 2004. I was still walking to the Farmer’s Market with a CD player in my Dickies, and was never without my Misfits and Tiger Army mixes. Santa Carla Twilight also has the first solo I had ever attempted. Ahh, the nostalgia.
Shout out to Nick 13’s absolutely top tier songwriting, too! This cat is pure poetry. It wasn’t until I was in my early 20’s that I was realized that Santa Carla is the fictional town that The Lost Boys takes place in.
