Just a random sort of inspiration that happened after See You Again. There's a lot of pressure out there to look a certain way, or to be a certain person. Societal pressures and expectations in contemporary society are more extreme and unattainable than they've ever been. According to media portrayals and representations, young women need to be: tall, thin, busty, tan, blemish free and a size 0. It's just not realistic. And the final result is 35,000 girls suffering from anorexia nervosa every year - 10,000 of which will not survive the disorder. It may not be the biggest reality check in the world, but I'm here to tell you that what you're "supposed" to look like is so out of the ordinary and abnormal that it's NOT beautiful. What's beautiful is when you wake up in the morning with tossed hair and that dreary look in your eyes. Or the way you laugh when someone makes that incredible joke that sets your spirits soaring. It's all from within and what you portray from the inside outward, rather than the vanity of the surface. Believe in that, rather than what is shown to you on magazine covers, and on television screens, ladies and gentlemen.
