If anyone asked you who the greatest samurai ever was, what would be your answer? Today we are going to present you the amazing life story of that frontier fighter. On a beautiful day in 1584, a baby boy was born in the village of Miyamoto in the northeastern highlands of Okayama, Japan. His father, Shinmen Munisai, was a master of martial arts and swordsmanship. Little did he know, then that his newborn baby would surpass himself and become a great samurai known to the whole world in future.
Shinmen-Musashi-no-Kami-Fujiwara-no-Genshin is his full name. He was later introduced by names such as Shinmen Takezō, Miyamoto Bennosuke, and Niten Dōraku. However, he is best known as 'Miyamoto Musashi'. Musashi is said to be the greatest samurai warrior ever lived in Japanese history. He can be introduced not only as a fighter but also as a philosopher, writer, strategic planner and a Ronin, samurai without a master.
