Nestled behind a large roller door in Marrickville, sits a Viking’s paradise, waiting to be explored. Designed by multi-award-winning interior designer, Alex Zabotto-Bentley, and his team, AZB Creative; inside features include acid-washed concrete floors, leather banquettes, an antiqued mercury mirror, an enormous antler chandelier, chalet-style fireplace, and throne, of course. The transportive interior is littered with all the horns, shields, runes, axes, helmets, ropes, furs and hides you could possibly imagine.
As Australia’s largest axe throwing entertainment company, MANIAX’s Sydney Inner West flagship will become the official epicentre of Viking themed fun in Australia. Beckoning guests to ‘Bury The Hatchet’, visitors are encouraged to unleash their inner Viking for the sake of some cutting-edge competition, in an immersive experience evoking old-world thrills.
The perfect way to change up your office party, EOFY event or team builder - both newbies and pros alike will let off some steam and/or sharpen their skillsets taking part in a tournament-style competition, battling it out with their fellow comrades for the grand title. Not to fear, MANIAX’S passionate staff of fully trained AXE-perts are sure to keep its brave competitors in safe hands for a zero AXE-idents experience to remember.

With catering including vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options available on request, keep your clan fueled by choosing from a selection of delicious, freshly made pizzas or smaller snacks up at the bar. Groups of 8 or more can indulge in an almighty made-to-order banquet including feasts of succulent slow-cooked meats, pizzas or burgers.
Or a more slow-and-steady approach, sharing boards decked out with fine cheeses, cured meats, artisan olives, homemade fruit pastes, fresh berries, toasted nuts, dates, crackers, and pickled vegetables will keep the team happy.

Inspired by axe-throwing adventures in Canada, Adam and wife Renee started throwing axes in their backyard in Coogee, much to the neighbours’ annoyance. Today, the business is Australia’s largest axe throwing outfit with destinations in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, and Adelaide.
