They sure are fun to make, though...and difficult. At least, when you're trying to make a board for your wife's birthday, and you don't want it to look like that 3rd grade present you made for your mom (frankly I worked hard on that ceramic turtle...).
Padauk is an awesome wood to work with, although the dust gets everywhere (like the sand on Tatooine). The odor is familiar, but I can't place it...and I probably shouldn't be huffing it. There's likely some group therapy for me in my future...again.
