''Rough Sex'' was released as the third single from the Lords Of Acid debut studio album, ''Lust'', in 1991. The original release included three remixes by Joey Beltram and a two versions of ''Take Control'', the upcoming fourth single.
In 1999, under Never Records, Lords Of Acid released their second compilation album titled ''Expand Your Head''. In the most part, it contained new and old remixes for their hits and it also had a few new songs like '' Am I Sexy...?'' (later heard in ''Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me''), ''As I Am'', ''Who Do You Think You Are?'' and a cover of ''Lady Marmalade''.
This remix was made by the late Jeff "Critter" Newell. This remix was also included in the latest re-issue of ''Lust''.
