I went to my local precious metals refiner and I bought ALL of the silver shot. I use silver shot to melt down and pour silver artwork. I used to use silver bullion such as silver bars and silver rounds to melt down, but now that I can get this shot cheaper I am going to be buying this in the future. Silver shot is not for stacking. Silver shot is for melting down. Sometimes people will call silver shot casting grain because that is what it is for... melting and casting. Silver shot can be refined to 999 or 9999. The shot that I bought is 999 and I can buy it for 60 cents over spot at my local refiner. They will be stocking more so I can purchase more in the future.
