This ZERO COST soup is easy to make! Of course you can use your own ketchup and sugar, but why do that when you can get a few extra packets the next time you visit your favorite fast food place. This Depression Era soup tastes just like any soup you would get from a can so give it a try. You can turn it into a one dollar meal by making some grilled cheese to go with it, but thy out this poor man’s tomato soup on its own.
Ingredients:
6 to 8 ketchup packets
1 sugar packet
1 cup hot water
1 liquid creamer cup (optional)
Combine ketchup, sugar, and water into a bowl.
Add creamer if you want a more smooth texture.
Serve and enjoy!
