Most people want a break from work, I've been lucky enough to take a year off working. This is what I've learned, what it's felt like, and what's next for me. We discuss the ups and downs and scarcity mindset when it comes to adult gap years, sabbaticals, mid career breaks.

I've had an unbelievable career in media, production, filmmaking, streaming, television, creative, and business, something I've wanted to do my whole life, but as my career progressed, I started to feel a yearning for a career break, or a creative sabbatical. Some people refer to breaks like this as career breaks, gap years, adult gap years, career transitions, unpaid time off, but whatever you call it, it isn't an easy move to make but a highly rewarding one. I'll give you my experience, and my results so far.

I'll also share my wild career from dreaming of making shows, to the early days of independent filmmaking, to finally getting a job in the media, producing shows and documentaries, managing the businesses, and finally the anxiety that kept building even into my break.
