A little tribute to the romantic comedy "I'd Rather Be Rich" (1964), starring Sandra Dee, Robert Goulet, Andy Williams, Maurice Chevalier, and Charles Ruggles. It is a re-working of "It Started With Eve" (1941) with the genders reversed. Sandra is a young heiress whose fiancee is unavailable when her grandfather summons her; believing that he is dying, she asks another man to take his place. As romantic comedies go, a love triangle develops. Who is the right man for her? This is a fun movie, which sadly, has not had an official DVD release as of this writing, hence why the image quality is not pristine. Goulet and Williams perform the title tune. Enjoy!
