Facts about Spirit Gum:
Spirit gum has been around since the late 1800s. It is considered an old school adhesive and is still widely used today for SFX makeup. Spirit gum has a pine like smell to it, this is because the resin is harvested from mastic evergreen trees or shrubs. Sprit gum got it's name from the fact that it is resin suspended in an alcohol base, hence the name spirit, gum meaning the sticky resin.
