Smegma, how to treat it, prevent it.
Your parents never taught you this because they probably didn't know themselves.

In this video there are simple tips on what to do to get rid of and then prevent smegma.

the most important habit to adopt for life is do NOT to wash your genitals in soap. Soap is anything that makes bubbles.... see the episode on genital hygiene for more details. Ideally you should use an emollient. Any emollient can be used. The link below is an affiliate link for E45 shower cream which is an emollient I use. If you do buy E45 cream it is very slippery when used in the shower so watch your step. Only apply to wet skin and then wash off, it is a soap substitute not a moisturizer.

Smegma in children is slightly different from older kids. Never force a foreskin back in children as you will cause damage. Foreskins are attached to the head of the penis can may not come away from the glands until puberty. If there are any concerns then see your family doctor. Either way don't use soap on children's or adults genitals either.

Have great sexual health
