Greyloom is a synth-driven band based out of Chico who played one of their first public shows at Argus with Desperate Hell and Beehive. Describing themselves as "haunted space castle music," this artistic duo creates a dark, beautiful sound from their retro-style keys, punctuated by haunting vocals that compliment in a way that needs to be felt to be fully experienced. She is Erin Lizardo, who has been solo for years, and he is Erick Elliot, who had a solo project called E.E. and then was the lead singer of Black Magnet with Mathew Houghton (Cat Depot, Team Skins) Cameron Harry (Blaster Dead, Silkshop Screen Printing & Graphic Design) and Michael Nalin (Team Skins) on drums.

Desperate Hell is a post-punk/deathrock band unearthed in Chico, CA. They consist of two brothers, Sawyer Goodson (Iver) on keys and vocals and Evan Goodson (Chico Latin Orquesta) as the lead singer and guitar player. Bassist Danny McGrath rounds out the trio, who use a mix of dark synth, variable drum machines, and melodic interludes to enthrall their audiences, wherever they play.
