When I first watched the concert movie "URGH! A Music War" on TV, I was blown away by a lot of the bands, many of which I'd never heard before. Back then, Hawaii wasn't really a hotbed of cutting edge music, most of the music was on top 40 radio with the occasional exposure to some non-poppy stuff on MTV. I was really young at the time, but I guess that was fortunate since I was still very impressionable. I ended up later buying this album, mainly because I really liked "Down in the Park" by Gary Numan. I let a friend borrow the album and he returned it with a skip in that song! URGH!
