The Desert View Tower has been a landmark on the eastern edge of San Diego County since the 1920s and the Boulder Park has been there almost as long. It was a welcome sight as travelers climbed the mountains on Highway heading to San Diego from the east. In this video we climb to the top of the tower then explore through the Boulder Park, checking out the rock art, small caves, hidden benches, and literal springs.
