At this point of her career, recording a soundtrack single was the next logical step for Donna. Who could refuse the legendary John Barry, the man responsible for the James Bond theme music in the mid-60's with Shirley Bassey.

John produced this version and Donna wrote the lyrics. Originally the song was only promoted in Europe, Asia, Australia and the UK. The disco version was attached to the then phenomenon of "I Feel Love" on a one sided Casablanca Records 12". It was the second track, and it had to follow up "I Feel Love" so it felt kinda washed out after the sleek, hypnotizing synthesizers on my first listen.

Come to think of it, the string arrangement did sound like something from a vintage Bond movie. Peter Benchley's "The Deep". The first thing I remembered about that movie trailer was Jacqueline Bissette's bodacious ta ta's in wet white t-shirt. The other thing I noticed was in their movie art there was an obvious thematic reference to Benchley's "Jaws" artwork that seemed kinda cheap making the movie look more dangerous. The only thing missing was a hand holding an ankle of the woman. I thought the film might not be that good because of it.

I finally was convinced to watch it and realized that all the stars were all at their most attractive I'd ever seen them. The film was pretty to look at because of them. Robert Shaw and his striking blue eyes stole all the scenes he was in.
