I heard this song know as "(fatty) little fat man" or "pug nosed face" or also "chubby little loser", in its original version just after David Bowie's death, and immediately thought it was beautiful, and cheerful enough to relieve the sadness of his farewell. It puts together his original ability as writer, his earlier style as musician and his typical sense of humor. The episode of Extras in which he and Ricky Gervais played together is moving, witty, and utterly British, and the song is a rare pearl. http://watchseries.cr/series/extras/season/2/episode/2.
I then came across Joe Murphy's brilliantly arranged version - this one - and it reminded me an interview in which David Bowie said that no piece of art is completed, until the user make something out of it, and so art is the space in between the artist and the people listening or watching. Joe Murhpy filed that gap, I like to think that this picture tribute fills another small gap. Long live David Bowie in our hearts and minds. And best credits to Joe Murphy for his inspired work.
