Donald P Bellisario considered 'Quantum Leap' to be an anthology series disguised as a sci-fi show - it could deal with humor, adventure, romance, social commentary, and more. Scott Bakula was the time traveler who 'leaped' into other people's bodies, Al was his hologram assistant. The concept was a bit complicated but audiences caught on and the show ran for five seasons. It started off with Bakula doing a voice-over explainer; soon 'Ziggy' (Deborah Pratt, aka Mrs Bellisario) took over the intros. The theme, by Mike Post, was largely unchanged until the final season, when it played over more contemporary rock rhythms. The end credits also changed a bit in season five, with different music used in some shows (an example is included here). Enjoy four opening titles and two end credit rolls from 'Quantum Leap'.
