Various shots in a radio studio where parents are sending messages to their children in United States of America (USA) and listening to the replies from those who were evacuated to New York. Natural sound of both the messages and the replies by the children in the States. The evacuees and their parents sound quite nervous and conversation is stilted. One little boy speaks with slight American accent. Radio announcer makes reference to newsreel cameras filming the event.
