My Hunter ceiling fan was spinning slow for a while even on high speed. A capacitor I found off Amazon for cheap (under $10) solved the issue. This can also fix fans that are not spinning on one of the speed settings. Just look at the three capacitor values and make sure the replacement capacitor matches those values.
