October 2021 marks the 30th anniversary of an absolute monster of an album: Necroticism – Descanting the Insalubrious. This has been my favourite Carcass record for as long as I can remember, and I believe it is their masterpiece. A solid blend between the earlier grindy material but more polished with compromising on brutality.

To celebrate this album, I’ve decided to cover a song that is (too) often overlooked, even though it is a great show of Carcass’ death metal crafting expertise. It is as fun to play as it was to transcribe since it features quite a few little details that most tabs failed to capture.

Bill Steer's track is panned slightly right, Micheal's on the left like on the record. I tried for hours to dial the perfect tone, for both the rhythm and lead parts and I hope I did it justice.
