This is my first lens review where I review the Canon 50mm f1.8 also known as the nifty fifty. It is the cheapest lens that Canon currently sells. It does not matter if you are in the Nikon , Canon or Sony ecosystem, you need one of these lenses as every big camera or lens manufacturer makes one. It is a really handy lens for portrait photographers who are on a budget and want a lens that provides decent image quality and is really easy to carry. It is also a great option for concert photographers and people who are shooting in low light situations as that f1.8 aperture really helps in keeping the shutter speed fast enough.
