World Abyss was created partly in Dav's mind and partly in Ahorn by like 5 volunteers. As the lore cutscene midway through indicates, Dav was absent without internet during much of SJ's development. To make sure this map existed, he drew out each room on graph paper, scanned them, and emailed them to mappers in the collab. Miraculously, almost every room worked when directly transcribed from the diagrams. As the cutscene also hints towards, World Abyss is a direct sequel to Temporal Tower from Spring Collab, and it's truly a worthy one - the routing and gameplay is turned up a notch from the SC original, and it all still feels just as good to play and solve. I highly encourage playing this map without actually watching this video, as routing it yourself is part of the experience. Do give me views though.
