These tools will help you be ahead of the curve of most artists who think it's just for basic rhyming.
Find Rhymes - ADVANCED
This tool lets you put in a word and it gives you the words that rhyme the closest with it on a Rhyme Rating Scale
If it shows 100 on the rhyme rating scale it matches the rhyme so closely that it would be a great word to rhyme with your word choice
It also shows if every word is a noun, verb etc which can be helpful in a couple circumstances
Find near rhymes
This returns words that almost rhyme with the word you type in.
So if I type in Smart, it gives me words I have to bend to make rhyme. For instance to make Sport rhyme with Smart I'd have to make the O sound like an A and say Sport.
Super Smart, I do it for Spart
You use this as a back up option if you can't find a good rhyme when you're writing
Find descriptive words: This function will find words that commonly describe your word, or vice versa. For example, "sunset" will bring up "beautiful", "red", and "gorgeous", among other adjectives.
And you can see Smart brings up man as in Smart Man or at the bottom you see damn and mighty like Damn Smart Or Mighty smart.
This tool can be useful if you wanna see HOW to use a word
Find synonyms: This function will return words that are the same or similar in meaning to the word you typed in. I recommend using Thesaurus.com for this as well as the antonym function.
An Antonymn is a word that means the opposite of the word
And Synonym is a word that means the SAME. Remember it starts with an S so it's the SAME. Synonymn SAME
Find definition: Obviously this finds the definition for you
Find example sentences: if you find a word you like and want to make sure you use it in the right context you can use this tool to see it in other sentences.
Find homophones: This function will return words that have exactly the same pronunciation as what you typed in but are spelled differently. You will very rarely use this tool
Find similar sounding words: This function will return words that have a pronunciation that's similar, but not necessarily the same, as what you typed in.
It also gives you a similiarity rating.
Match consonants: This option will return words that have the same pattern of consonant sounds. Phonetic, for example, will return fanatic.
Find related words: This option will return words that are related in some important way to what you typed in.
This feature just finds synonymns as far as I can tell, so again just use Thesaurus.com
Match these letters: This option will return words and phrases that contain the letters you type in. So if we type in Smart you see it shows Smart phone smart ass, smarty pants etc haha.
As you can see there are A LOT of tools in Rhymezone that you may not have known about. I recommend everyone uses Rhymezone until I make my Smart Rapper app that does all of this and about 100 other things I always wished I had as an upcoming rapper.
