Welcome back for another Game of Thrones and A Song of Ice and Fire update video. In this video, I will be talking about George R.R. Martin's recent interview. During this new interview, George R.R. Martin revealed he no longer wants his ASOIAF book fans asking him about the Winds of Winter release date. As you all know, George R.R. Martin has been writing the Winds of Winter for over 12 years. He hasn't released an ASOIAF book since 2011, when A Dance with Dragons was published. Since then, he has given us dozens of updates regarding his progress on TWOW. At this point, we may never find out when George R.R. Martin is releasing the Winds of Winter, because it always appears as if he will never finish writing it. He said he was 75% of the way done, but now I'm not so sure I believe him. Thankfully HBO is still producing shows set in his ASOIAF universe, otherwise we may never visit there again.
