Specifically, this version is from the bootleg "Twitter Tracks", which are a collection of songs Adam uploaded to twitter a while back.
This may or may not be a re-upload for this channel.... but in my defence I've normalised the audio (made it louder) and added a decent background/thumbnail.
The story goes that, Durtiz and Courtney Cox were mucking around at the piano and together they came up with this song. After they broke up (which from what I gather was a long and cyclic process... just listen to the live versions of mercury....) Adam really didn't want to put her name in the credits. A while later David Gibbs, under his solo project kid lightning, covered the song and credited both authors.
There is a live version from the wiltern, and it makes it into a few versions of round here.
