I wrote this song down by the river when I first arrived in Pisac those many years ago... I arrived with not a single penny, having followed the wild call of my heart to leave Mexico and go in search for healing the silent storms within me. As I slept under the trees and the open skies at the bottom of the sacred mountains with an opening of such trust in my being, a timeless memory stirred and began to awaken. In that moment of remembering the ancient gypsy nature of our spirits, wandering free from life to life this song was born.
To look back now and see the moment of this song was the beginning of a long and winding path through the dark and magic territories of my being, the tears and screams, the awe and wonder, the breaking, the dying and rebirthing, the songs and dances, the learning and remembering, the freeing and opening of our dusty wings, the epic landscape that must be crossed as we cover the ground we call 'Healing'...
