Alc〈αA〉dia formed in 2001. In early 2002, the group released its first demo, "2 Stands Heaven", which didn't really sell all that well among the visual audience. In 2003, Alc〈αA〉dia released their only known album, "Alcadia", which also didn't really sell all that well either. Alc〈αA〉dia eventually ended up disbanding in 2004. The guitarist of Alc〈αA〉dia, Sayu, went on to be a support musician for the obscure indies band Kanuak, until their disbandment in late 2005. He then joined the indies band 13 Kaidan (13階段), which lasted not even a year. After 13 Kaidan's disbandment, Sayu then retired from the visual scene. The bassist and drummer of Alc〈αA〉dia, Cell and Kiri, both formed the indies band Siva, which folded in 2009. After Siva's demise, Kiri retired from the visual scene, while Cell also retired from the visual scene, and joined the underground band Sika-Bambi (しかバンビ), which he eventually left. After he left Sika-Bambi, Cell then retired from the underground Japanese music scene in general. In 2018, Kiri returned to the underground music circuit when he joined Blue Straight, which he is still active in today.
