James Spann is one busy man. Besides serving as a meteorologist at ABC 33/40 in Birmingham, he's also seemingly on social media every minute of the day, keeping us aware of severe weather while also sharing some insanely awesome sunset pics.

And he also travels to area high schools to educate students about severe weather and what they should know. Oh, and while he's there he's usually given a cake -- and the sugary sweets seem to get more and more elaborate each year.

Here are a few of our favorites we've seen throughout the years, but really -- they all look pretty cool.
