Note the lyrics in this early recording of the 1935 song hit (First line: “I say you are my queen, you say I’m not so keen, etc.). In the film “Times Square Lady,” the song’s co-writer Pinky Tomlin performs a variation of these lesser-known lyrics (as sung to a cow!) as well as the more familiar words (as sung to Virginia Bruce): “Why don’t we get along, everything I do is wrong, etc.”
